HIGH LEVELS OF E COLI FOUND IN LOUGHREA LAKE

High levels of E. coli have been detected in Loughrea Lake. An independent test carried out on a sample of water from the lake on April 22nd revealed a level of 1 million coliform units per 100 milli litres.The test, which was commissioned by the Loughrea branch of the Labour Party and conducted by Complete Laboratory Solutions in Ros muc.
