HIGH LEVEL SPEAKERS FOR DISABILITY CONFERENCE IN BALLINASLOE

Disability Minister John Maloney and Labour Leader Eamon Gilmore will speak at a major disability conference in Ballinasloe tomorrow [wed jun 18] and Thursday.Inclusion Ireland, the National Association for People with an Intellectual Disability will host its annual Self-Advocacy Conference in the Carlton Shearwater Hotel.Entitled "My Voice...My Choice" the event will include themes such as "being included", "Peer Advocacy" and "My Journey to Independence".Aine Ni Aillagáin an Advocacy Officer with Inclusion Ireland says the conference will focus on what supports are needed for people to lead a more independent life.
