HIGH LEVEL MEETING OVER LIBELING OF AHASCRAGH PRIEST

The Communications Minister Pat Rabbitte is meeting the board of RTE this morning to discuss the BAI report into the libeling of Ahascragh priest, Fr Kevin Reynolds.

Mr Rabbitte is expected to seek assurances from the board that steps are being taken to ensure such a libel never happens again.

Last week Minister Pat Rabbitte refused to say he had confidence in the board of RTE.

It follows a damning report from the BAI into the libeling of Fr Kevin Reynolds.
