HEALTH MINISTER SAYS HSE INQUIRY IN SAVITA'S DEATH WILL PROCEED WITHOUT HUSBAND'S CO-OPERATION

The Health Minister says the HSE inquiry into Savita Halappanavar's death will proceed without her husband's co-operation.
James Reilly says it's regrettable that Praveen Halappanavar has decided not to engage with the investigation at this stage.
The Chairperson of the inquiry team will soon announce the three new members of the panel - one of whom will be from the UK.
Minister Reilly says he has requested an interim report into the circumstances of the 31-year-old's death before Christmas.
He says he respects Praveen Halappanavar's right not to meet Professor Alkumaran - but Minister Reilly hopes he reconsiders.
