Headford rockers This Nachez launch new album 'Era'

This Nachez are poised to produce a performance to remember on Saturday, June 9, when the band launch their second album, Era in Campbell’s Tavern, Cloughanover.

The Headford based rock band have been gathering momentum over the past year with stellar performances in Galway and Dublin and now this new album.

This Nachez are Stephen Monaghan on guitar/vocals, Dave Donoghue on bass, Fiachra Craddock on guitar and Éimhín Craddock on drums/vocals.

Era has been almost two years in the making and the band are energised by finally seeing the fruits of their labour.

Their full-on, precise sound has elements of Rage Against the Machine and System Of A Down, but with Era This Nachez have very much found their own sound.

“Groove is much more to the fore than it used to be”, says drummer Éimhín, “initially we wrote songs that were choppy and technical, nowadays we still have those same technical bits, but we’re figuring out ways to make them groove more. I think you can hear this coming through in the new material big time!”

Campbell’s Tavern is the spiritual home of this band. They have put on their best performances here through the years and Saturday, June 9 promises to be another night to remember. Admission is €10 which includes a copy of the album.
