GUH CLINIC REDUCES ORTHOPAEDIC WAITING LISTS

A clinic opened this Summer has managed to significantly reduce orthopaedic waiting lists at Galway University Hospitals.
The musculoskeletal clinic is being run by two clinical physiotherapists on the Merlin park hospital site five days a week.
The clinic opened at the beginning of July and sees an average of 50 patients a week.
The orthopaedic waiting list at Galway University Hospitals has reduced by 55 weeks since the clinic started, and so far 239 patients have been seen.
