GREENSTAR MAY APPEAL COURT DECISION ON KILCONNELL DUMP

Greenstar Holdings Ltd is considering appealling yesterday's court judgement which found it guilty of breaching conditions of its waste licence at the Kilconnell landfill.At Loughrea court, Judge Elizabeth McGrath found that the case taken by the Environmental Protection Agency against Greenstar had been proven, and imposed fines totalling 3,500 euros.The two conditions breached by the company related to emissions from the facility in Kilconnell, and odours.
