Gort Community School graduate Cillian Fahy is to assist in the launch of Ireland's first live online grinds school.

The straight A student now studies in Trinity College Dublin but first came to prominence in 2010 when he sold his Leaving Cert notes on eBay for almost 3 thousand euro.

OnlineGrinds dot ie aims to provide low-cost grinds at Leaving and Junior Cert level with lessons broadcast live and interactive direct to the student's computer.

The school was founded by Paul Stenson, a lecturer at the American College.

He is assisted by Cillian who has been assigned the role of Programme Co-ordinator and Tara Talbot, a former Rose Of Tralee winner.

The live web classes are broadcast from a studio in Dublin and grinds teachers are now actively being recruited.

Cillian Fahy is leading the selection process and says the subject areas of French, Irish, Business and Biology are now their key recruitment areas for teaching staff.
