GORT MAN TO STAND TRIAL ON CHILD PORN CHARGE

A 48 year old Gort man has been sent forward for trial on a child pornography charge.

Noel Murphy of 2 Seehaun, Ballysheedy, Gort, had a book of evidence served on him at Gort District Court last week.

Noel Murphy was first arrested on June 2nd and is charged with one count of possession of child pornography.

He's now due to appear before the upcoming sittings of Galway Circuit Criminal Court next Tuesday.
