GAS AND BROADBAND NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUE FOR TUAM

Galway county council is negotiating with Bord Gais and the Department of Communications to ensure broadband and gas connections are put in place when Tuam’s streets are dug up next year.While welcoming the 23 million Euro grant announced for the new water and sewerage system, Tuam Town Councillors want broadband and gas services put in during the dig.Director of Services Frank Gilmore says the County Council is pursuing both issues.
