Gardai not treating discovery of body in Salthill as suspicious

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Gardai are not treating the discovery of a body at Blackrock in Salthill yesterday as suspicious. A section of the Prom was closed off for a time last evening following the discovery. The body has been identified as a male aged in his twenties who is believed to be from the city. It has since been removed to University Hospital Galway where a post-mortem examination is due to take place. Gardai are treating the incident as a tragedy.
