Family and friends of the 20 year-old Longford native are growing increasingly concerned at his disappearance. It's now one week since Michael Hughes was last seen at approximately 2 am in Eyre Square. He had been out socialising with friends during rag week on a visit from the University of Limerick where he's studying. The Dublin-based Garda helicopter joined the search in the city today and has been combing the city centre and shoreline since early morning.
