Galway's special Valentine Card for the people of Haiti

The large volume of calls and requests received by the Galway-based Alan Kerins Projects from people wanting to help victims of the recent devastation caused by the earthquake in Haiti, has prompted the charity to issue an unique card especially for this year’s St Valentine’s Day.
The striking photograph on the card was taken at last year’s Salthill Air Show and depicts a ‘Love Heart’ created over Galway Bay by the Red Arrows air display team and according to Alan Kerins “it is very appropriate for us all to show our concern in this positive, constructive and meaningful way, every cent raised will go towards clean water sanitation to help the people of Haiti rebuild their lives.”
The cards are available throughout the city in a host of companies, NUIG, the GMIT as well as local schools. Everybody is being encouraged to send the charity card to someone special in their life, especially for the people of Haiti.
