GALWAY WOMAN CHARGED WITH MURDER FLEES TO WALES

A Mervue woman due to go on trial for the murder of a man in the city 16 months ago has fled to Wales. 25 year-old Una Black, of 83 Droim Chaoin, Bishop O’Donnell Road, and formerly of 23 Walter Macken Flats, Mervue jumped bail on Monday and took the 9.15pm ferry from Rosslare to Fishguard.
