GALWAY WASTE COMPANY COMPETITION CASE RESUMES

The trial of a Tuam Waste company, 2 other waste companies and 5 individuals at the Central Criminal Court in a competition case has resumed in Galway.WERS Waste and its managing director Paul Gleeson aswell as 4 other individuals and two other waste companies are appearing before the Central Criminal Court sitting in Galway.They're charged under the Competition Act relating to a tender for waste disposal for Mayo County Council in 2005.WERS and Paul Gleeson deny the charges.
