GALWAY TO HOST MAJOR EU CONFERENCE

Galway has been chosen as the venue for a major European conference on the future of the language 'esparanto'.An estimated 400 delegates from all member states will attend the Galway conference which has been organised for 2011.According to City Councillor Mary Leahy Galway faced stiff competition from Switzerland for the hosting of this event.
