GALWAY TO HOST MAJOR EDUCATION CONFERENCE

The 104th Annual Congress of the Irish Vocational Education Association will take place in Galway next month [sept]The IVEA represents Ireland's 33 vocational education committees across the country.The meeting is due to discuss school enrolment policies, the suspension of the Summer Work Scheme, and funding for adult education.Minister for Education, Batt O' Keefe, will address the congress at the Clayton Hotel in Ballybrit on the 17th and 18th of September.
