The cost of travelling between Galway and Dublin is set to increase in January when motorway tolls are expected to rise by 10 cent.

Tolls on the M6 at Ballinasloe and M4 at Kinnegad are expected to rise by 10 cent according to an increase in the consumer price index.

Rates for passenger cars will stay the same on the M50 in Dublin - but are expected to rise on parts of the M1, M8, and N25.
