Target express workers in Galway are still waiting to hear about redundancy payments.

Up to 10 staff at the branch in Lydican Claregalway learned they were out of a job after the company ceased trading on Monday.

Meanwhile, a group of workers inCork are continuing their protest against the haulage firm.

The workers holding the sit-in at the Little Island say they're owed a number of weeks' pay and they want to know when they'll receive their pay and entitlements for years of service.

Target Express, which works on both sides of the border, ceased trading amid a row with the Revenue Commissioners over tax debts.
