Galway senators to debate Seanad abolition
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Two Galway senators are to lead a high profile debate on the proposed abolition of the Seanad
The debate will be held in in Dublin on Monday.
Labour Senator Lorraine Higgins, who is the spokesperson on Reform & Foreign Affairs, will argue FOR the abolition of the Seanad.
Independent NUI Seanad Representative Ronan Mullen will argue against.
The debate has been organised by the Dublin Alumni Club and will be moderated by Harry McGee, political correspondent with the Irish Times.
The event takes place on Monday at 7.30pm in the St Stephen’s Green Hibernian Club in Dublin.
