GALWAY SENATOR SLAMS HSE DELAYS IN GALWAY MEDICAL CARD CASES

A Fine Gael senator has condemned delays by the HSE in dealing with older medical card holders in Galway.Senator Fidelma Healy-Eames says the local office in Galway has received approximately 90 calls in the last week from upset patients whose cards have not been renewed on time by the Dublin office. The processing of the cards was moved recently from the local HSE office in Galway to a centralised office in the capital.
