GALWAY RAPE TRIAL ADJOURNED AT CENTRAL CRIMINAL COURT

The trial at the Central Criminal Court of a Czech national charged with raping a Galway woman has been adjourned until tomorrow.The 23-year-old man has pleaded NOT guilty to raping and sexually assaulting a 24-year-old woman on or about July 28, 2007 in County Galway.The hearing had been scheduled to begin today before Mr Justice Patrick McCarthy and a jury of eight men and four women but was adjourned for legal reasons.
