Several Galway politicians are being criticised for their no-show at the latest meeting of the city's joint policing committee. Just 6 city councillors turned up at this week's meeting, out of 18 politicians who are committee members. The meetings are held every three months to provide a forum to discuss matters affecting policing in Galway. Galway City Community Forum Chairperson Nuala O'Hara is also a Committee member and she's disappointed at the low turnout among Galway politicians.
