GALWAY ONE OF DEAREST LOCATIONS FOR HOME INSURANCE

County Galway is one of the dearest places in the country for home insurance. That's according to a survey carried out by online insurance service CHILL.IE.The study found that rates for the same home insurance building and contents for those living in the county varied between 300 and 546 euro. The variation in the city was between 265 euro and 451 euro. This compares to an average in Dublin of between 272 and 463 euro. Only County Mayo was more expensive than Galway in terms of the cheapest rates.
