Galway man to be sentenced next month over rape in county town
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway man is to be sentenced for rape next month (April) when he appears before the Central Criminal Court.
The 41-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to rape of a female in a County Galway town on a date in Febuary 2011.Mr Justice Paul Carney declared the man a sex offender and ordered a victim impact statement to be prepared. He set a sentence date of April 28th next when full facts will be heard in the case.
