Galway hotel prices fall by 4%
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway hotel prices fell by 4 percent last year.The Hotel Price Index compiled by Hotels.com shows the average room rate fell to €96.
This compares to an average of €100 in 2012.However the Galway figure is still marginally higher than the national average rate of €94 per night.Killarney is the most expensive at €106 while Limerick is recorded as Ireland's best value destination with an average of €68 per night.Lizann Peppard from Hotels.com says Galway hotel prices are averaging out after a busy year in 2012.
