Galway hospitals update – Monday 5th March

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Outpatient appointments will run as normal at University Hospital Galway, Merlin Park Hospital and Portiuncula University Hospital today Urgent electives will go ahead and patients will be contacted directly to make arrangements. Day case surgeries will also go ahead. The Saolta hospitals group says some curtailment of non-urgent elective procedures will be necessary over the coming days Hospitals will contact patients directly to reschedule their appointments. The HSE is urging patients to only attend for their appointments if it's safe for them to travel.
