Galway Hospice issues warning on bogus collectors

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway Hospice has issued a warning urging people to be vigilant about bogus collectors. The warning follows recent reports that a man with a forged sponsorship card has been operating in several areas of the city. The hospice is advising people not to subscribe unless they know the person presenting the card. Fundraising Manager Michael Craig said there's a number of ways to spot a fake card and any suspicious activity should be reported.
