GALWAY HAS SECOND HIGHEST PAID HOSPITAL CHIEF OUTSIDE DUBLIN

The Chief Executive of Galway University Hospitals, which comprises, University Hospital Galway and Merlin Park Hospital, receives an annual salary of 138 thousand euro.

Figures released by the Department of Health to Fine Gael T.D. Derek Keating show the Galway Chief receives the second highest salary hospital salary outside Dublin.

According to the Irish Times, the head of GUH gets paid 138 thousand 407 euro a year with 31 days annual leave.
