Galway forum calls for minimum alcohol pricing

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway Healthy Cities Alcohol Forum is calling for the introduction of minimum pricing.

The city was the first in the country to develop a strategy to prevent and reduce alcohol-related harm.

The forum has now prepared a submission calling on the government to take urgent action.

Spokesperson City Cllr Niall McNelis says there is a huge human and economic cost to alcohol related harm.
