GALWAY CONSULTANT CLEARED BY MEDICAL COUNCIL

A Galway-based palliative care consultant has been cleared of professional misconduct.

Dr. Dympna Waldron appeared before a Medical Council fitness-to-practice committee, where allegations against her were dismissed.

According to today's Irish Times, patient, Paul Clarke from Kilkelly in Co. Mayo, made a complaint about his care by Dr. Dympna Waldron and her team.
