Galway's Purcell Construction says its recent joint win of a major structural restoration project at St Mel's Cathedral in Longford is a significant boost for the firm.

It comes as the latest Ulster Bank Construction PMI shows that poor results for the industry nationally, could hamper the economy's resurgence as a whole.
