Famous TV star spotted pulling drinks in Galway city bar

The entertainer is known for some of his very ‘wild’ shows
A very famous television star popped into a Galway city pub even hopping behind the bar to help them out during a mad rush.
The well known RTE and Sky TV broadcaster, entertainer and host was all smiles as he took up his new day job among the double takes of pint-punters the opposite side.
Baz Ashmawy can now add bartender to his long list of achievements as the once wild, world travelling workhorse has turned into one of RTE’s most famous faces.
Murphy’s Bar said: “We were delighted to welcome Baz Ashmawy to Murphy's recently.
“It was great to have you in with us. Thanks for the visit, and we look forward to welcoming you back through our doors again soon.”
Famous in later years for DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland, Baz was once the wild child of Irish television.
No we’re not talking about 50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy, we mean the RTE cult classic show that was How Low Can You Go?
HLCYG was on air during the height of the Celtic Tiger and followed Baz and his two compadres Michael and Mark around the world on low cash but high craic.
Their job was to make funny, crazy and entertaining telly which they did while travelling the world “sampling the local beverages and indulging in some unsavoury shenanigans” - we can leave the rest to your imagination.
He is the host of the more tame ‘The Money List’ on RTE these days.
