Both Tribes and Corrib Water Polo clubs had a number of players from both clubs on Team Ireland duty recently. The success of both clubs in national competitions is reflected in the selections of the Irish teams to complete in both the inter-regional and European nations tournaments.

The Tribes U-16 Girls had a strong representation based on their recent cup win. Kate Wallace, Niamh Connery, Mai Given, Lydia McNicholas and Laura Casserly played on the U-16 Irish team in two games against Scotland in Belfast over the weekend.

The Ireland team comfortably won both games, which were challenge games played in Belfast in preparation for the ASA Inter-regionals which take place later this month.

The Corrib WPC U-16 Boys also had a strong representation in the Irish team. The boys team also played two games against Scotland, winning both games. The Corrib club was represented on the team by Michael Keegan, Liam Smyth, Ewen Le Duigou Etayo, Michael Cunningham-Smyth, Kyle Cosgrove, and Paddy Cunningham-Smyth.
