Drug drivers in Galway getting caught the morning after

From this week's Galway City Tribune - Intoxicated drivers are getting caught under the influence of drugs and drink at Garda checkpoints ‘the morning after the night before’.
Garda Chief Superintendent Tom Curley noted the new phenomenon in Galway City of drivers testing positive for cannabis and ecstasy at 10am and 11am.
He said motorists were also getting caught over the drink driving limit the morning after they haveve consumed alcohol.
Chief Supt Curley said that intoxicated driving offences had increased by 32% to 54 incidents in the city in the first five months of this year. That was up by 13.
Over one weekend in June, seven intoxicated drivers were detected in the city, which he said was a lot for a three-day period.
