GALWAY BASED CIVIL SERVANT AWARDED 40 THOUSAND EURO FOR VICTIMISATION

The Equality Tribunal has ordered the Department of Defence to pay €40,000 to one of its Galway-based employees for victimisation.It found that when Tom Barrett, an Assistant Principal Officer, complained about being bullied by his supervisor, he was sent to Galway to work in an office by himself with no meaningful work since 2005.
