Further remand for Carraroe man charged over brother’s murder

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A Carraroe man charged with the murder of his brother has been further remanded in custody. 40-year-old Declan Ó Cualáin from Cuileán, An Cheathrú Rua is charged with murdering 41-year-old mature student Adrian Folan at Liscannor, Co. Clare on July 4th. Mr. Folan had been missing since the previous night and searches took place in Athlone and Galway until his body was recovered in Co. Clare, near the cliffs of Moher. Declan Ó Cualáin appeared before Harristown District Court today where he was further remanded in custody. He will appear before the same court again in two weeks.
