FURBO BODY NOT SUSPICIOUS

Gardai are not treating as suspicious the discovery of a woman's body off the Furbo coastline. The remains were discovered in the water close to the beach at Na Forbacha at 9.20 this morning. The woman was believed to be in her early thirties. Gardai have technically examined the beach but have confirmed they're treating the woman's death as a tragedy. The womans remains have been removed to University Hospital Galway for a post mortem examination.Gardai will not be releasing her name until all family members have been informed.
