FUND SET UP IN THE US FOR ANNE COLEMAN'S CHILDREN

A fund has been set up in Iowa in the US by the friends of Anne Coleman of Abbeyknockmoy and Joe O'Connell of Kerry who were killed in a road crash on SundayAnne and Joe, who had been living in the States, were killed when the car they were travelling in lost control on Highway 61. The couple's three children were also in the Honda van, as the family were on a two week road-trip15 year old Sarah was driving, and she and her 13 year old brother Coleman escaped serious injury, and have been discharged from hospitalHowever 10 year old Maeve had to undergo surgery for her injuries, and has been kept in a medically induced coma. Three members of the Coleman family from Abbeyknockmoy are in the States to make arrangements for the bodies to be flown home by the weekend for burialConcerned family friends have since set up an account in a US bank to assist the children.
