FOUR RICKSHAW DRIVERS CHARGED UNDER NEW CITY BYE-LAW

Four men have been charged and fined under new legislation for offences relating to the operation of rickshaws in the city last year.

Attila Hangyasi of Moneenageisha Court, Otto Varga of Tirellan Heights, Edward Balazs of Cappagh Road and Martin Marajudin or Tirrellan Heights appeared before Galway District Court.

The bye-laws were introduced to regulate the growing night-time phenomenon in the city.
