It's being reported that a pathologist, who's work is currently under review at Cork University Hospital, and who worked at University Hospital Galway, misdiganosed two women for cancer in his native Finland.Up to 15 cancer cases at C-U-H are under review amidst fears of misdiagnosis. The doctor received his licence to practice here just days after a Finnish investigation put a second negligence finding on his record. The H-S-E is refusing to give details of the background checks it carried out-except to say that the onus is on the employee to prove they're not the subject of investigation.
