FILE FOR DPP OVER MERVUE STABBING

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions following a stabbing incident in Mervue on Wednesday night.

A man and a woman, both aged 43, and with city addresses, were being questioned in relation to the incident and have now been released without charge.

A 36 year old man received emergency surgery following the stabbing which took place at a house in Malin Avenue on Wednesday night at 9pm.
