FEARS OF JOB CUTS AT ABBOTT GALWAY

There are fears this morning that jobs could be lost at one of the country's leading medical device manufacturers in GalwayAbbott Ireland employs almost three and a half thousand people at six locations around the country, including MervueAccording to this morning's Irish Independent, the company will announce what is being described as a 'significant' number of redundancies in the next two days.It's being reported that Abbott's plant in Mervue will be the focus of the lay-offs
