Fears have again been expressed that any reintroduction of third level fees will result in a big drop out of students from Galway colleges. Many students at the city's third level institutions have indicated that they will have little option but to leave the colleges and go on the dole if fees are reintroducted.According to local Fine Gael Senator Fidelma Healy-Eames if fees are reintroduced, redundancy-hit parents in Galway, will not be able to fund these costs for their children.
