Extension of water restrictions on Inis Meáin

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway County Council says due to falling reservoir levels it's extending the restriction of the water supply on Inis Meain. Water will be switched between 6.00 each evening and 10 each morning from today (25th June) until further notice. A council spokesperson says they regret taking the measures but there is no other option at present to ensure a supply remains available.
