€5M FOR WESTERN RAIL CORRIDOR TODAY

Progress is being made on the upgrading of the Western Rail Corridor.That's according to Minister for Rural, Gaeltacht and Community Affairs Eamon O'Cuiv who's giving the go-ahead for another 5 million euro to Iarnrod Eireann today.THe money will be spent on the Northern end of the line from Tuam in Galway to Collooney in South Sligo.
