EMERGENCY MEETING UNDERWAY TO ASSESS CURRAGH LINE

Galway County Council is planning emergency measures to deal with heavy traffic and high flood levels on the Curragh line just outside the city.

Water levels are reaching all time highs along the road, which has been taking much of the traffic entering and exiting the city in recent days.
