Tuam Town Councillors have been told that some estates in the town will have to wait a little longer for street lighting.

This is due to an embargo on the erection of new street lights in estates.

A meeting of Tuam Town Council was told this week (8/4), that the cost of erecting and maintaining one street light could be between 1 thousand and 5 thousand euro.
