Sligo Live returns for its seventh year and presents an exciting programme from October 26-31, bringing together established Irish and international acts with some of the best emerging talent on the scene.

Scottish singer KT Tunstall plays on Friday, October 28. KT scored a worldwide hit with her debut album Eye To The Telescope in 2004, and followed it with the platinum selling Drastic Fantastic in 2007. Tunstall spent the next few years on the merry-go-round of the touring circuit, before taking some time out and returning with Tiger Suit in 2010. Tickets for her show in IT Sligo are €28.

Hayseed Dixie are the creators of the musical genre ‘Rockgrass’ fusing hard rock covers from the likes of AC/DC, Kiss and Motorhead with seriously good Bluegrass picking and harmonies. They have sold over 500,000 records worldwide, and played over 1,000 live dates in 29 different countries since 2001. Tickets for this 10 pm show at The Model on Friday, October 28, are €19.

For many punters, the big draw of the weekend will be Elvis Costello’s set at the IT Sligo on Saturday, October 29. Costello’s record speaks for itself with hits like Oliver’s Army, Alison and Watching The Detectives. It’s an all-too-rare appearance from the singer, and an unmissable show. Tickets €40.

Weekend tickets, which guarantee punters access to all the events happening over the weekend, are available for €95. For more, see sligolive.ie.
