Elective procedures postponed at city public hospitals
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A number of elective procedures are being postponed at the city's public hospitals tomorrow.
It's due to increased demand at the emergency department at Galway University Hospital.
The postponed procedures mainly concern the surgical day ward.
The HSE says that all delayed cases will be prioritised based on clinical need and will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
Non emergency patients attending the emergency department are also advised to expect delays.
